Purni’s Story
CEYLAI began as a personal return.
Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Australia, Ayurvedic wisdom was always present in the kitchen, in the garden, in the way the body, mind, and spirit were cared for in daily life.
In my late thirties, a diagnosis of vitiligo was accompanied by ongoing stress and inflammation. The conventional path offered long term steroid treatment, without a clear resolution.
It didn’t feel aligned. I had a need to understand what the body was communicating, rather than silence it. That led me back to what had always been there.
Ayurvedic principles were applied with intention by supporting digestion, calming inflammation, strengthening the skin barrier, and reestablishing rhythm.
The changes were gradual, but clear.
Symptoms resolved. My skin stabilised and repigmented and more importantly, there was a return to a more regulated state.
That experience reshaped everything. A deeper understanding of the body as a system, and the role of consistency, rhythm, and daily care in long term health.
